What We Do:

Through our volunteers, we empower veterans to attain their highest level of independence, with specialized assistance to post-9/11 veterans, female veterans and veteran families. Bikers Helping Veterans is an outgrowth of Bikersinc.org, an Indiana based organization that is federally recognized as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit. It is a small, all volunteer grassroots group that got its start because our volunteers were mostly made up of Veterans. So in order to meet that need to help and to better organize, Bikers Helping Veterans was created.

Bikers Helping Veterans works with other Veterans programs and organizations in order to provide a tighter network of complementary services when needed. Not only that, but we also assist with local housing, small business advice, mentoring and even day to day assistance such as car rides to hospitals and basic home assistance for elderly Veterans. Despite being our humble size, we work to our best ability to help the most amount of Veterans that we can.

Vietnam: Letter to a Lost Bro

The following letter was sent to artist David Mann.

"When I ride my hog at night and the moon is full and the wind is cool against my face, I can feel you riding beside me on your panhead. I can hear your laughter and see that glint in your eyes. God, how I miss you, man. Your friend, Roundman".

He was so moved by it that he created this painting titled "Vietnam: Letter to a Lost Bro" that appeared in Easyriders magazine.
